Nanny's Ridge Handmades By Dawn Stake

We are honored to introduce you to Dawn Stake the artist from Pennsylvania behind the Nanny's Ridge Handmade Primitives line!  Dawn has been creating amazing pieces of work since 1998!  Dawn and I have known each other for MANY years and have developed a wonderful FRIENDSHIP as well as business relationship.  Dawn and I used to meet up at shows and we would be able to purchase all her and her families items in person.  Unfortunately, back in 2020, when COVID hit things all changed.  Luckily Dawn was setup to ship and we were ready and thrilled to be able to get her goodies for our customers (and lets be honest our home as well).  Bittersweet Blessings was expanding our website and online presence, we decided to create categories and brands for our amazing artists so that our customers and their followers could stay up to date with their new offerings.  When deciding how to brand Dawns items we were chatting and I asked her what her favorite thing to do was....and she said "I live in the woods. I have 16 grandchildren they call me nanny.  I live on ridge road  if any of this helps to come up with a name ??" (one more precious grandbaby is now on the way).  This is where the name Nanny's Ridge came from and we couldn't love the story behind it anymore.  Dawn is surrounded by her family in creating this amazing line and she is blessed to work with them daily like we do here at Bittersweet Blessings.  Family truly is the most important thing to both her and us and that is why we all have such a love of what we do....and it sure does show in all of their creations!  Thank you for supporting ALL of our families and for loving the Nanny's Ridge Line by Dawn Stake like we do!
